Challenge Ladder Guidelines and Rules Revised 6/29/06
1. Player must be on ladder to challenge, unless authorized by a G T Tennis staff member. Please inform Director of Jr Development of your challenges, immediately, for each challenge. 2. Unless Director sets match up differently, all challenge matches are 2 out of 3, six game sets, tie-breakers to be players at six all; regular scoring is to be used. 3. Player may only challenge two spots up. Player must be in the top spot of their group to challenge up to next group. 4. Once a challenge is made the player being challenged has 48 hours to reply. If there is no reply, please contact Director of Jr Development. Once contact has been made, the players have 72 hours to get the match played. If a player is challenged and does not play, the match will be marked as a default and the challenger will move up accordingly. Also, please note: email is the preferred form of communication. 5. The information provided on the ladder page is for the use of challenging only. 6. Both players involved in match must report scores to Director of Jr Development, after match is completed. 7. Challenger must provide a new can of balls; challenger keeps balls after match. 8. Any and all problems need to be directed to the Director of Junior Development. All decisions made by director are final.
